Shabanie Mine beat Zimbabwe Saints 2-0 at Maglas Stadium yesterday in a re-arranged Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match.

Artwell Nyoni and Caleb Masocha were on target to ensure Luke Masomere’s first win since taking over from Arnold Jani two weeks ago.

This means Masomere has picked up four points in two league matches after his debut produced a 1-1 draw against Shooting Stars in Mutare before the cup loss to Highlanders last week.

Shabanie now have 20 points from 19 matches and move into 13th place, one behind Black Mambas who drew 0-0 with Monomotapa in another match at Morris Depot yesterday.
