Tatenda Chinengwere, a young upcoming musician, has released a house album titled Fo Sho Muzik Volume 1.

Raised in Highfields, Harare, young and energetic music producer and sound engineer, Chinengwere popularly known as DJ Tachi, said the album had a total of 10 fast-beat house tracks.

“On the album are included potential hit tracks like Iwe Neni, Let’s Do It Again and Love is the Answer,” he said.

Some of the tracks are already receiving airplay on ZBC’s Power FM.

“I was very happy about the general response to the song Love is the Answer which was currently popular in the popular Power FM radio chat show,” said DJ Tachi.

DJ Tachi said he produced this album after being inspired by internationally-acclaimed House Music artists such as Dj Kent, Liquid Deep and Dj Clock. The former Mukai High School student said he featured DJ Philly on the album.

Chinengwere began his musical career in 2007 and most of his lyrics were based on love, which he said was the best feeling anyone could ever have thus worthy to be sung about.

“Since releasing my first album Handikusiye Wega in 2010 I managed to get exposure after performing at many urban groove shows like the Urban Ghetto Tours and the African Australia House Tour which saw me performing in Perth, Australia, in April among other places,” he said.

He has worked with upcoming artists like Shinso, Dj Mbale, Dj Philly and Spencer Masango and is currently working on a DVD for his album. “My aim is to get locally brewed house music in addition to the Southern African market offers. We need to create real music,” said Chinengwere.
