Kaizer Chiefs stand to pocket an initial figure believed to be in the region of R16 million from the sale of Knowledge Musona to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim should the Zimbabwean striker pass his medical and agree personal terms with the Bundesliga club.

Chiefs have already accepted the initial offer from Hoffenheim believed to be in the region of €1,6 million for the 21-year-old.

What is now left is for Musona and his representatives to reach an agreement with the club over his personal terms when he travels to Germany later this week for the deal to go through.

Part of the deal is that Chiefs will still hold a percentage should Musona make a further move from Hoffenheim.

Interest from Scottish giants Glasgow Celtic has in the meantime been parked as they only raised their interest in Musona after Hoffenheim, and Chiefs have already told KickOff.com that they will not auction the player to the highest bidder.

After top scoring in only his second season in the Premier Soccer League, Musona raised his value by slamming a brace against Mali for the Warriors in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier last month.
