Gospel artist Elvis Munetsi aka Moonets, represents a new clear approach to gospel music as he has demonstrated ability to deliver both cutting-edge reggae, dancehall and soul stirring life-changing songs.

His music has also impacted on rhythm-driven youths.

His first album Zvandiri Inyasha/ Saved by Grace, which comprises songs such as Wonderful Lord, Itii Mufaro, I Will Worship You, has proved popular especially with its reggae beat slant.

“Before my repentance I used to listen to Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer, but now I go to Maranatha Team Ministries. I now listen to the late Culture T and the Nigerian, Buchy,” said Moonets who is also a teacher by profession.

Moonets, who is married and has two children, said he started singing in church in 2005.

He said he was now working on his second album which should be out before year end.

“Everyone who listens to my music has always told me that he is inspired by certain songs on my album and I really appreciate the fans’ support.”
