New Caps United caretaker coach Maxwell Takaendesa Jongwe returns to the dugout on Saturday when his charges clash with former champions Gunners at the Lafarge Stadium in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) match.

Jongwe replaced the “fired” Moses Chunga on Monday and will work with the club’s brand and marketing manager Alois Bunjira and goalkeepers’ coach Richard Tswatswa.

The PSL has released a truncated fixture programme designed to accommodate the Cosafa Women’s football championships that kick off this weekend in Harare.

Two other matches will be played on Saturday with Sakubva Stadium in Mutare featuring Shooting Stars and Black Mambas while Masvingo face leaders FC Platinum at Mucheke Stadium.

On Sunday, Hwange host Zimbabwe Saints at the Colliery while Blue Ribbon make the trip to Maglas for a date with Shabanie Mine. Kiglon host Highlanders at Rufaro on Monday while Monomotapa and champions Motor Action clash at Gwanzura on the same day.

Dynamos, who travel to South Africa on Saturday to face Orlando Pirates in an Ubuntu Calabash clash at the Rand Stadium, return to face Chicken Inn at Rufaro Stadium on Wednesday.
