HARARE City Sports Bar

Leonard Zhakata will give his fans a taste of his upcoming album, Gotwe/Last Born at the bar, located at Queens Hotel Complex, on Friday night.

The musician has promised a great show saying he is going to announce the release date of the album anytime soon.

Glamis Arena

Jamaican musician Elephant Man, aka “Energy God”, is expected to perform at a concert to be held on Friday night at the Glamis Arena on Friday night.

Local acts Winky D, Gusspy Warrior, King Shady, Sniper, Riccky Fire and Templeman will share the stage with the Jamaican dancehall superstar.

Club Amnesia

Club Amnesia will Friday night host “Friday Amnesia Nights”. DJs Dee Nice and Mos Deezy will be on the decks.

Stars Nite Club

The club will on Saturday evening host Elephant Man’s After-party. The event will be backed by C & A Entertainment and Rainbow Towers Hotel. Resident DJs Dee Nosh and L Roy (D&L), Vi Jay and TK Beatz will be in rotation.

Portugal Restaurant (Pensao)

The new-look Tony’s Nite Spot club at corner Samora Machel Avenue/Eighth Street is the kicking place for hard clubbers all weekend.

Full braai and a wide range of drinks on sale. Every Saturday the club features “Caribbean Reggae/Dancehall Nite” hosted by DJ Slow. Construction of a brand-new club is well in progress, so watch this space. Big up all crew!

Liquid Lounge

Saturday night the bar hosts “Saturday Night of Pleasure” with DJ Flevah on the decks. On Sunday, the Big Brother Amplified (BBA) fans will invade Liquid Lounge, the official BBA fan club base. They will watch the live eviction show on big screens and upcoming local musicians will perform at the end of the show.

Café Noir

Bass and Styles will on Saturday evening play at “High Society Saturdays”. They will be supported by NR Ent.

7Arts Theatre

Zim’s Finest under theme “Changing the World with Every Mov” will host Zimbabwe’s Finest Dance Group competition on Saturday night. The clash of the youthful dancers is expected to be the biggest dance fiesta of the year.

Fusion Café Bar The bar, located at the Borrowdale Racecourse, will on Friday night host a “Little Black Dress” party with female revellers expected to wear little black dresses. DJs T-Bass and P-Styles (Bass & Styles) will be on the decks.

Red Fox

The home of Rastafarians, the Red Fox in Greendale will host a “Mad Sunday” event on Sunday. The event will feature Judgement Sound, Legendary Sound, Youngsen aka I-randu, Smilie and surprise guests. The event is dubbed “Magetsi Aenda, Staera Staera”.

BULAWAYO

Mojo (BAC)

Go back and forth in time with DJs Mark Vusani and Tony in what is dubbed “The ’90s Sound” featuring soul, R‘n’B, as well as house music on Saturday night. Limited complementary tickets are available — but strictly for ladies.

Ayoba (Formerly Ebunandini)

Friday night there is the official opening of the club. Entertainment will be provided by afro-jazz and pop group Say Band as well as urban groover Otis Ngwabi

Paparazzi Sports Diner

Friday night, join DJs Prince, Zetfactor, Cool J and Glen in a musical journey dubbed “The Party Is On” starting 8pm. On Saturday there is all-female rhumba dance group Girls La Musica on stage providing energetic dance routines while resident DJs provide the music.

Jock and Saddle (Ascot Racecourse)

On Sunday, starting at 12 noon, the club hosts a birthday party for musician Babongile Sikhonjwa. The party is open to the public and DJs Gunz and Slammer will provide a mixed bag of music.

Jabula Inn (Esigodini)

Friday night the leading entertainment venue in the small town hosts rhumba all-female dance group Girls La Musica starting at 8pm. Saturday evening another dance group, Vibe Stars Musica, takes to the stage.

Kalahari Bar (Beitbridge)

Friday night the pub hosts the border town’s two finest DJs, Wallace aka Kasi Pride and Daggera from Kalatainment, who is also the club’s resident DJ. The clash of the two DJs will continue until Sunday.

Platinum Lounge (Zvishavane)

Premier Soccer League debutants FC Platinum are on Saturday officially opening their nightclub, Platinum Lounge Zvishavane, with legendary superstar Oliver Mtukudzi billed to perform. The elegant nightclub in the heart of Zvishavane will add colour to the mining town’s social scene.
