Zuva Chatanga was arrested last Wednesday after viciously attacking his sister, Shamiso Chatanga, who is said to be resident at the family house.

The incident, which left Glen View community shell-shocked, is said to have occurred when Chatanga paid his sister a visit and demanded money she allegedly collected as rentals from the family house.

Chatanga was not asked to plead when he appeared before regional magistrate Munamato Mutevedzi facing a charge of attempted murder and was remanded in custody to July 13 for trial. The State was represented by Rufaro Mhandu.
