Masvingo dropped two points at home as they drew with Chicken Inn in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played at Mucheke Stadium on Sunday.

Both men finished with 10 men after the hosts’ Beaven Chandisaita was shown the red card for a crude tackle on Danny Phiri while Chicken Inn’s Frank Mvula also saw red in the second half.

The point moved Masvingo to 19 points and seventh place, the same as Dynamos who lost 2-1 to Blue Ribbon at Rufaro on Sunday.

Chicken Inn are now fourth with 22 points, one behind Highlanders in third position and four behind joint leaders Motor Action and FC Platinum. At Maglas, Shabanie Mine beat troubled league anchors Shooting Stars 1-0, but the asbestos miners still remained in the bottom four.
