The closing day of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) on Saturday will be a fun-filled event as local and regional artists take to the stage to entertain guests and exhibitors in a show dubbed “Injabulo Kuphela”.

A host of local young musicians will take part in the concert while South African kwaito star Brickz of Left Right fame is also expected to perform at the event.

Coca-Cola brand manager Mona Karingi told NewsDay yesterday that the world’s leading soft drinks producer would be celebrating 125 years in business through the concert.

“In Zimbabwe, the company has been operating for 63 years now but we are celebrating over a century of service to the whole world,” said Karingi.

Energetic and spectacular ragga performer Winky D, is famed for tunes like Biggie Man and Tisu Takaipa, will also be on stage.

Winky D is undoubtedly going to be one of the star attractions at the concert. He is capable of delivering hit after hit for more than an hour without taking a break.

The concert will start at 11am and end at 6pm. Maringi said the music show is aimed at the young at heart hence it is going to be staged in the afternoon.

Other artists set to entertain music lovers are Khulekani “Samazaza” Sibanda, a kwaito exponent, Nicholas “POY” Muchinguri, a hip-hop musician and Vanessa “Lady Vee” Muzarurwi who performs house music.

Given such a diverse line-up, all tastes would really be catered for.

Disc jockeys Gunz and MC would be behind the turntables.

The show is a follow up to one that was held at the Harare Gardens in February this year dubbed “Mafaro Chete”.
