The Big Brother Amplified (BBA) housemates were on Sunday evening split into two groups and put in separate houses, a move which saw some growing relationships being destroyed.

There were mixed emotions during the Sunday eviction show when Big Brother asked all the housemates to leave the Amplified house.

The housemates could be heard mumbling with some claiming to have known that they would all be leaving the house while others seemed confused about what was going on.

The presenter of the BBA shows IK announced that all the housemates had passed their audition week and probation and were guaranteed of another week in the house.

He added that Big Brother had assessed each of the housemates very carefully and was impressed with all of them.

The housemates were then divided into groups of 15 and 11 and were sent to two houses.

This transpired after they were all called to the live eviction show stage, where they each randomly picked a coloured glove from a bag. They were then separated according to the colours they had chosen.

The 15 housemates who included Zimbabwe’s representatives, Vimbai Mutinhiri and Wendall Parson were then whisked back into the original BBA house now known as the Heads house.

The other group is in a Tails house.

Nkuli (South Africa), Ernest (Uganda), Luclay (South Africa), Mumba (Zambia), Karen (Nigeria), Nic (Kenya), Bhoke (Tanzania), Lotus (Tanzania), Alex (Ghana), Miss P (Botswana) and Kim (Zambia) are now in residence in the Tails House.

Vimbai, Wendall (Zimbabwe), Zeus (Botswana), Bernadina (Namibia), Confidence (Ghana), Danny (Ethiopia), Felicia (Malawi), Hanni (Ethiopia), Jossy (Namibia), Lomwe (Malawi), Michael (Mozambique), Millicent (Kenya), Sharon (Uganda), Vina (Nigeria), Weza (Angola), are in the Heads house.

Neither group knows whether the other members are still in the show or not.

The new living arrangements on BBA have broken some relationships while others remain intact. The most obvious liaison, which caught most of the housemates’ attention, was that of Lomwe and Hanni, and they were lucky as they were both returned to the Heads house.

Three housemaids Kim, Sharon O and Felicia were seperated as Kim checked into the Tails house.

When Luclay said he was really missing someone, Karen was quick to point out that it was probably Weza as they had a connection.

Meanwhile, playing time is over as the games have definitely begun with the housemates being informed by Big Brother that they will start nominating each other for possible eviction this Sunday.
