After having been out of the country for three months, music superstar Oliver Mtukudzi, will perform at the two-in–one welcome party which will be hosted at the Harare International Conference Centre on Friday night.

Mtukudzi will host the homecoming party following three-month break from the local scene as he had been away performing in the United Kingdom, South America and the United States.

“Friday’s show is not just a mere welcome party but in fact a two-in-one gig where Tuku will perform as usual but will also present something special to celebrate with his fans which will only be announced then,” said Tuku music publicist, Shepherd Mutamba.

Mutamba said curious fans would have to come for the show where their curiosity would be fulfilled.

He said Mtukudzi loved pleasant surprises but was not at liberty to reveal the surprise before going on stage.

“Because the homecoming party is our own Tuku Music promotion we want our fans to get the best deal and value for their money.”

Mutamba said the $10 cover charge would remain unchanged when tickets sales start on Friday morning and throughout the night of the show.

He said the supporting acts for the night would be the Golden Girls and Munya Mataruse.
