Long-awaited Sean Kingston tour is finally upon us. After months of anxiety and speculation the United States-based musician is expected to jet into the country on Wednesday night.

The musician has two shows and Celebration Centre and Glamis Arena this weekend and he will touch down at the Harare International Airport aboard a South African Airways plane at around 2100 hours.

Kingston will be met at the airport by Miss Teen Zimbabwe, Nadine Hahn, among other local celebrities and fans. He will stay at the Meikles Hotel during the tour.

Clint Robinson of C&A Entertainment, the organisers of the concerts, said all was set for the concerts which will be held on Friday and Saturday.

“All is in place and we await the arrival of Sean Kingston. He is coming through with eight people including his manager, Candice Walton,” said Robinson.

He added that everyone was being invited to the airport to welcome Kingston.

On Thursday, Kingston will have a busy schedule as he will take time to mix and mingle with his Zimbabwean fans at the Joina City (Harare) in the morning signing autographs and having photo shoots.

In the evening, he will attend a welcome party which will be held at the Fusion Café bar in Borrowdale.

Africa Entertainment 2011 award winning Dj Phatbeatz, Dee Nosh, L-Roy (D&L), Raydizz, The Dude and Rossi are some of the DJ’s who will be at the event mixing their tunes.

On Friday morning he will do sound check at the Celebration Centre for his evening show.

On Saturday, he will perform his main show at the Glamis Arena at the Exhibition Park.

There will be an after-party on after the main show on Saturday at Nelson Mandela Hall at the Exhibition Park.
