Northern Region Division One side Highfield United play their second game of the season when they take on former Premiership side Black Rhinos at Gwanzura Stadium this afternoon in a re-arranged fixture.

Having made headlines in the off-season after signing on former Warriors captain Peter Ndlovu, Benjamin Marere, Protasho Kabwe, Murape Murape and Washington Arubi, Highfield got off their campaign on a losing note going down 1-0 to La Liga. Ndlovu and Kabwe were eventually loaned to Black Mambas, Arubi and Murape returned to Dynamos and Marere was shipped off to fellow moneybags FC Platinum.

Highfield, owned by diversified local company Twalumba Holdings, will feature the pair of former Black Mambas players Isaac Madziva and Michelle Katsvairo and Tafadzwa Jaricha, formerly of Caps United.

And probably in a first for a lower division side, they have signed Uganda Under-23 skipper Alex Boban Zirintusa Bogere and fellow countryman Harris Kajjubi.

In another match, DC Academy, owned by former Warriors international Dickson Choto, takes on Commando Bullets at One Commando.

Fixtures
