SeedCo Zimbabwe has introduced a strategy to ensure effective communication and feedback with all its customers through the launch of the bulk SMS, “SMS Mudhumeni”.
Through this facility SeedCo would be in a position to sustain customer relationship and management through sending agronomical advice in form of text messages to all its customers and stakeholders.
A forum has been created, where farmers can ask questions and obtain responses to their enquiries.
“In order to obtain as much feedback and customer expectations as possible, we need to constantly keep in touch with all SeedCo’s customers and stakeholders,” said SeedCo Zimbabwe managing director Dennis Zaranyika.
The bulk SMS is targeting at least 3 204 customers including attendees of SeedCo field days for Rattray Arnold and Kadoma research stations, farmers’ unions, NGOs, Arex, off-station sites, SeedCo growers and staff.
“This is indeed a very convenient project that would increase effectiveness among our operations”, said Zaranyika.
