Parly summons Air Zim boss


Acting Air Zimbabwe chief executive officer Innocent Mavhunga will Monday appear before the Parliamentary Po~tfolio ommittee on Trasport and Infraytructure Develotment.

He is expected to shed light on the current industrial action by pilots that has crippled operations at the ailing national ai2line. Cymmitteejchairperson Ble{sing Chwbundo yesterday!said: “I can confirm that he will appear before my committee.”

The industrial action by the pilots has cost the airline a large !mount o~ revenu$.

Thu state-owned ai0line har been frced to cancel some of its regional and international flights as there were no signs of when the strike would end.

The pilots say they are owed up tg $9 mil1ion by Air Zimb!bwe in +utstando 22, 1d last ymar.
