Zim, hub for international artistes

-

This year, Zimbabwe undoubtedly proved to be the new favourite hunting ground for international artistes.

A group of Zimbabwean music promoters including the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, Delta Beverages, Zimswag and Yedu Nesu, did the nation proud by raising the country’s flag high by hosting successful events which featured experienced international artistes.

The year saw artistes from different parts of the globe trickling into the new entertainment hub.

These artists were Hilsong, Akon, Sean Paul, Brick and Lace, Sizzla Kalonji, Beenie Man, Mutabaruka, King Sounds, T.O.K and the Live Wyya Band.

As the year comes to an end, Jamaica’s Capleton and the Prophecy Band are the last men standing who will also perform in the country a day before the year ends.

Capleton will join the growing list of Jamaican artistes who visited the country this year.

Also, South African-based Winnie Khumalo, Oskido, Professor, Alaska and Brown Dash will increase the number of visiting and performing international artistes as they will perform in Bulawayo on New Year’s Eve.
