TOK to perform at Tourism Night

Jamaican dancehall group, Touch of Klass (TOK) and Live Wyya Band will be coming to Zimbabwe on Monday for the Tourism Night music extravaganza set for next Tuesday at the Harare International Conference Centre.

Local artists, Cindy, Winky D, Ex-Q and Xtra Large will also perform at the event, which will see a blend of traditional music, gospel, urban grooves and sungura so as to cater for a diverse range of musical tastes.

The Tourism Night is one of Zimbabwe’s biggest music extravaganzas hosted every year by the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) during the Sanganai/Hlanganani Travel Expo. ZTA public relations manager Sugar Chagonda said this year the extravaganza was not held during the Travel Expo as the authority decided to pave way for Delta who hosted Beenie Man during the same period.

The decision to bring in TOK was determined by the market.

TOK is being brought by Yedu Nesu which is part of the Youth in Tourism Network and ZTA are facilitating the event.
