Josta Dladla believes his Kaizer Chiefs teammate Knowledge Musona will have a greater impact at the Premiership soccer club than Collins Mbesuma.
“Ntofontofo” netted a club record 35 goals in all competitions for Amakhosi in the 2004/05 season when they won the league title under Ted Dumitru.
Musona has had a great start to his career and in the last two days walked away with both the Best Striker in the Telkom Knockout Cup and Absa Premiership Player of the Month awards. And Dladla believes that is but the start for the young Zimbabwean international, saying he will get much, much better.
“If you look at Knowledge, at 19 years old, he is at a completely different level,” “JD” told Kickoff.com.
“He is so mature, like he has been in the game for a long, long time. He is in Itu’s (Itumeleng Khune) league – Itu hates conceding at training, and Knowledge gets so upset when he misses a shot at training. People compare his impact to that of Collins Mbesuma, but I think he is better, and remember, being 19 he is only going to get better.”
Dladla believes that Musona’s attitude is what sets him apart from many other talented youngsters, and what will see him reach great heights in his career.
