Mbare Junior Rugby Academy retained the Lou Corb trophy after they walloped Hillside Primary School 29-0 in the final of the tournament at Hartsfield Stadium.
The Academy which was the only representative from outside Bulawayo was one of the 22 teams which participated in the competition.
Mbare Academy coach Victor Pekani was excited to retain the trophy after his team struggled to make their trip due to lack of funds
Tichaona Hwangwa from the academy was voted the best forward of the tournament.
Ntabeni Primary school has been dominating the event since its inception two decades ago.
Meanwhile, the national sevens rugby team also known as the Cheetahs donated uniforms and balls.
The academy nurtured the likes of national players Manasah Sita, Njabulo Ndhlovu and Fortune Chipendo.
