Buscod Southern Region Division One Soccer League side Chicken Inn rolled into the Premiership in style as they pummelled Ntabazinnduna Prison 4-1 at Luveve Stadium on Saturday.
Coach Philani “Beefy” Ncube will have another dance in the top flight after two years in the wilderness.
Ncube coached the now, defunct Njube Sundowns in 2008 and scooped the CBZ Coach of the Year.
Chicken Inn got their most important goals from former Njube Sundowns striker Heritani Masuku, enterprising Thomas Chimenya, another former Sundowns striker, Never Musvipa, and substitute Tendai Mukambi.
It has been an easy road to the Premiership for Chicken Inn after they lost just one game to ZPC Hwange in the 26 games they have played so far.
They play their last four games as a matter of formality.
The fast-food outlet team shrugged of a fierce challenge from former Premiership sides Railstars and Zimbabwe Saints.
Quelaton were in contention as well but lost it when they fired coach Dickson Mbazo midway through the season.
The Tawanda Ruzive-owned outfit missed out on joining the country’s elite soccer league when they failed to make it in the national play-offs last season, which saw Black Mambas promoted.
