Munyaradzi Chidzonga, Zimbabwe’s representative in Big Brother All Stars edition is set to make history in the television reality show after he got nominated for eviction thrice in a roll.
The 24-year old was nominated for eviction once again on Monday night following his survival from the boot the previous day.
Rico from Big Brother three in 2008 is the only other housemate who has been nominated for eviction three times consecutively.
Week 5 sees Meryl, Munya and Yacob going up for possible Eviction on Sunday the 22nd of August as all three were tied at 6 votes each.
Kaone, as Head of House, saved himself and stuck with his original nomination of Meryl.
This time Munya locks horns with two other nominated housemates, Yacob and Meryl who got on the spot courtesy of head of the house. Botswana’s Kaone saved himself and put Meryl in his place.
Munya, like last week, was still enjoying his survival from eviction after Tatiana was evicted from the house on Sunday but that could only last for a day.
There are 10 housemates left in the house, six of whom are male and the remaining four are female.
The next eviction is likely to see a male housemate leaving the house if the general opinion that the ladies have been evicted enough is upheld by voters, Munya and Yacob could be hitting the barn this time around.
Munya turned himself into a talk show host and interviewed some housemates to get their views on the nominations soon after Kaone came out of the Diary Room.
Yacob said he was going up against defending champion Munya, who had already taken down two opponents. He confessed that he did not have hard feelings about being put up for possible eviction.
This week is the first time Yacob had been among the housemates up for possible eviction next Sunday.
Munya’s fans have expressed hope that he will win, saying that Africa loves Munya as proven in the past few weeks.
“The people who nominated him said yesterday morning that he is a big threat also because he is a strong character and he acts naturally without thinking what anyone would say,” said one fan.
“I think he is going to survive again this week because Africa has already spoken twice.”
