Zim Saints, FC Victoria deal still on

The deal to transfer Premier Soccer League side FC Victoria’s franchise to Zimbabwe Saints is still on, according to the Bulawayo’s club chairman Daniel Muchena.
Muchena was due to meet members of his executive last night after FC Victoria director Nobioth Magwizi tabled new demands before a deal could be struck. Muchena could not reveal the demands.
“New demands were tabled by the owner and I am meeting with my executive tonight (last night) to discuss and reach a decision on the new conditions.
“The deal is still on and we cannot keep talking forever. We need to reach a conclusion and I believe the conditions are within our reach.
“The team is not playing well and we want to take over as soon as possible and bring stability into the side,” Muchena said.
The deal, reported to be worth more than $32 000 was approved by the PSL general assembly when they met two weeks ago and Saints had been expected to play their first game against Shabanie Mine at the weekend.
