Zim benefits from balls donation

Zimbabwe is one of the six African countries who are set to benefit from 10 000 soccer balls that have been donated by the Sager Family Foundation and Roadshow.
The simple yellow balls made for rough surfaces will also be distributed in Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The US-based foundation was initiated by successful American businessman and photographer Bobby Sager who has committed himself and his family to activities of philanthropy along with his family since the year 2000.
The foundation says it will supply the balls under its project ‘Hope is a Game Changer’. The balls will help those without the resources and inspire young players at grassroots levels of junior football.
