No deal yet for Vimisayi’s move to Dynamos

Dynamos have a week to secure the services of Hwange midfielder Farai Vimisayi as the deadlock between the two teams over the talented player continues.
Vimisayi has only been featuring for Dynamos in the CAF Orange Champions League in which he helped the Harare giants to a place in the money spinning league phase.
But that could be the end of the romance for Vimisayi with the blue and white boys as Hwange have said June 30 is the last day of payment for the reported $24 000 or the player will revert to being the coalminers’ player.
Hwange spokesman Burzil Dube said while Dynamos had asked for an extension to raise funds, they have not honoured their part of the deal.
Reports in the Saturday issue of this paper that the Harare side is broke suggests that there could be no deal after all.
“They asked for an extension until the end of June and we are yet to hear from them. If nothing comes around, he simply returns to Hwange,” Dube said.
Dynamos chairman, Farai Munetsi however said they were finalising the deal with Hwange and was hopeful they will reach an agreement before the end of the month.
“We are finalising the deal with Hwange, and yes, yes I am hopeful of a deal,” Munetsi said yesterday.
Dynamos had similar problems in acquiring Cuthbert Malajila and Mathew Mahala from Chapungu after a series of broken promises, but eventually managed to scrounge around for money to pay for the duo after the Airforce of Zimbabwe side took a hardline stance.
The Harare side has also confirmed they will be heading to Sudan and Germany on sponsored trips as part of their preparations for the Champions League journey which begins with a home tie against TP Mazembe on July 18.
