Madinda at Mambas

Premiership side Black Mambas have roped in former Warriors winger Madinda Ndlovu as technical advisor in a bid to revive the team’s fortunes after a poor start to the season that has seen them go seven games without a win.
Ndlovu was unveiled yesterday morning by the team’s sponsors Twalumba Holdings at a ceremony attended by his brothers-former Warriors captain Peter and Marko and his manager Hosea Bhebhe.
Peter, was quick to point out that he was present to offer moral support to his brother in his new position and will not be taking any active part in Mambas, dispelling word that he could be interested in a coaching position.
Peter is a holder of a Confederation of Africa Football (Caf) C-Licence, attained in April in Harare together with his brother Adam and former Warriors stalwarts Norman Mapeza and Agent Sawu. Twalumba Holdings Group Executive Chairman Nkululeko Sibanda said the results have not been coming, but were determined to turn the situation around.
“Madinda Ndlovu, who is in partnership with Twalumba Holdings, has been seconded to Black Mambas to assist the club as technical director.” Ndlovu admitted the task at hand would not be easy.
“We want to work towards sustaining our position in the league and the rest of the work will be done next season. ” he said.
