Sizzla’s local studio opens

34-year-old Jamaican dancehall artist Sizzla Kalonji’s Borrowdalebased recording studio has started functioning.

Based at his home, the studio is said to be a facility to record his own music and also help Zimbabwean artists.

“I am currently working with Sizzla’s producer, Cave Man and I must say we have a working relationship and music is what we do regardless of ideology or background,” said Shiloh Shimon (pictured), a Zimbabwean artist who is assistant producer at Sizzla’s studio.

Shimon is a Zimbabwean musician who formed the band Hot-a-Fire which is currently backing for popular reggae artist, Mic-Inity.
