Top Model Worldwide is one of the leading international model searches which, according to their website, seeks out the best new model talent from across the globe with a host of titles and awards, great prizes and fantastic career opportunities for the lucky award winners.

Each campaign includes a diverse mix of finalists from runway to photographic.

“I am so happy to have landed such an opportunity to compete against other models from other countries such as Lithuania, Sweden, Morocco, Poland, Austria, USA, Belgium, Wales and Ukraine.”

Other African contestants will be coming from countries such as Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Zambia, Cameroon, South Africa, Namibia and Kenya.

The slender 21-year-old Hozheri has participated at pageants like Miss Harare 2011, Miss Universities 2010 and 2011 and Miss Mashonaland, among others.

“This is a dream come true for me. After having been rejected several times in my own country this year, my year looks bright with this venture on the international scene,” said Hozheri.

She said she was going to make sure that throughout the competition her looks would be a true representation of Zimbabwe and Africa as a whole.

“I am no longer signed under Top Model modelling agency.

“I believe I’m better off on my own and because modelling makes me happy, what happens in the industry will not stop me from pursuing my dream. I know one day I will be an inspiration to someone,” she said.

Top Model Worldwide is a fashion and modelling industry- backed search and does not have beauty pageant style heats or public text voting to select the finalists.

All finalists are selected by interview and by industry professionals, according to the site.
